Gathering Clouds

About 30 seconds later it was raining on me! ...Which is good, because we need the rain, even if it was only 10 minutes worth! Shot yesterday afternoon at 4:40pm at the park across town - I have to go drive somewhere if I want any kind of open view of the sky...

I would have been quite happy with these sort of clouds over the past two months Tracy, instead of the constant 100% grey coverage.

@Curly: I know how you feel, Curly. We have had several summers where we might see the sun for a little while, one or two days of the week, and then clouds and a lot of darkness the rest of the time. This year has been much more sunny, but accompanied by extreme heat and humidity. Fewer mosquitoes, but mostly too hot to enjoy that.

We've had really odd weather here too. For 20 months, very low rainfall, then 4 months of rain that broke all the records. Right now it's kinda "Normal" whatever that means these days

@CElliottUK: I hope the weather holds out for the Games. We are currently experiencing one of the hottest summers ever, and also one of the driest. Last year (or perhaps the year before) was one of the wettest...

It must have been the same storm that hit me as I mowed the back yard. A beautiful expansive view of the sky with these clouds that seem to appear in 3-D! I love the subtle grays to the bright whites!
